8/17/2012 - Football Group Classifications
The New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) has released the Group classifications for public schools for the 2012 high school football season.
After years of playing with Groups 1 through 4 in four sections plus Non-Public, the state association's executive committee voted in May to pass a resolution that allows 32 additional schools entrance into the playoffs as New Jersey expands its number of sectional football champions from 20 to 24.The Group classifications for football for 2012, SUBJECT TO CHANGE:

The New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) has released the Non-Public football classifications for the 2012 high school football season. Unlike the public schools, which added a group and now have five, New Jersey Non-Public schools will play with the usual four Group classifications this season, which opens Friday, Sept. 7.
